Ravn is our warmest ever synthetic layer, a severe-weather belay jacket built for stillness in the storm. A nod to Odin’s ravens - the sharp-eyed seekers and silent watchers of Old Norse myth - Ravn is made for the backs of the cold-weather watchmen. Those who stand firm on prolonged frigid belays and through the bite of winter.
Built with a Pertex® Quantum ripstop shell and layered synthetic insulation, Ravn balances warmth, protection, and mountain utility in one formidable layer. The outer is cut from 100% recycled OceanCycle polyester with a PFC-free DWR finish. The body features 160gsm insulation, with 100gsm mapped to the sleeves and helmet-compatible hood, delivering warmth where it matters, without bulk where it doesn’t.
Its extended cut, glove-compatible adjusters, and wind-blocking baffles are purpose-built for winter climbing and static periods in the cold. A press stud at the hem secures the jacket when belaying. Two insulated hand pockets, two zipped chest pockets, and large twin internal dump pockets provide essential storage for the likes of gloves and skins.
Technical stretch cuffs seal comfortably over gloves. A two-way YKK® moulded centre front zip with insulated rear baffle minimises heat loss and wind ingress. Anti-snag hem adjusters keep things simple.
